Working with fabulous officiants, pastors, and other religious leaders has truly been a joy, and knowing that Pastor Freddy Wright connected me with this dazzling couple and Liz’s caring, encouraging, and supportive mother was even more of a treat! I’m sure plenty of officiants could relate that it’s difficult to make Saturday night weddings work in their schedules, especially out of town, when there is an early morning Sunday looming, however seeing Phillip Allred catch a few laughs while officiating seems to have made joining Liz and Will for their Lake Livingston lakeside ceremony an absolute pleasure.
Logistically, we’re always thinking five steps ahead trying to anticipate each person’s need and desire, which is actually exciting as a wedding planner! Thinking creatively through Liz’s unique wedding processional while outdoors on a private piece of land…ah! Love it! For a dog-loving wedding planner, it was even more exciting to see cute Louis prance down the aisle for his mom and dad’s nuptials! To our future couples – if the venue allows it, I will do all in my power to help you know the ins and outs of including your adorable pup in the ceremony!
We can’t let it go without mentioning that having EB Inc., Dream Bouquet, Angela Karr and her team, and Bri Costello with lovely sister Aubrey on board for this lakeside wedding ceremony and restaurant wedding was a treat. Their smiling faces and encouraging personalities truly make gearing up for the next wedding exciting!
Taking the chance on a fully customized wedding from start to finish was new yet not without surprising and intriguing challenges, and it brought 100% smiles to this bride and groom; this is what matters! As a wedding planner, seeing these smiles on Liz and Will’s faces before, during, and after the wedding is what it’s all about! Visiting with the newlyweds and Liz’s eyes full of thankful tears as we debriefed a few weeks post-wedding was a huge thank you!
